ECIDS is the single source for early childhood integrated data for selected education, health, and social services programs to help answer key policy and program questions. ECIDS provides counts of children who receive multiple early childhood services from participating programs.

ECIDS is maintained by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services’ Department of Child Development and Early Education.

NCSchoolWorks (NCSW) is a federated longitudinal preschool through postsecondary and workforce (P20W) data system designed to select and provide access to information on cohorts of students, schools, and program data over time. Data contributors include the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (via its CEDARS Data Warehouse and Reporting System), the University of North Carolina System, the North Carolina Community College System, the North Carolina Independent Colleges and Universities, and the Labor and Economic Analysis Division of the North Carolina Department of Commerce. The system includes a data request tool, a data broker, and a distributed query system to facilitate data sharing among NCSW partners.

NCSW is maintained by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction’s Office of Data, Reporting, and Privacy.

CFS is a longitudinal repository of workforce and education data. CFS contains data on participants in North Carolina public employment, training, and education programs going back to the 1990s. The system also contains employment and wage information on all individuals working in Unemployment Insurance-covered employment in North Carolina over the last 25 years, making it one of the largest sources of historical wage data in the nation.

CFS is maintained by the North Carolina Department of Commerce’s Labor and Economic Analysis Division.
